Meet Dr. Dan Kratzer,DMD, MS, ABO-Board Certified
I was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I am married to Kristin Kratzer, who is a general dentist. Kristin grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We have 3 kids, Eliza, Luke, and Evan. My kids are young, but I can already tell they will all need braces. They are popcorn maniacs, and Luke really loves candy – so I’m no different than you when it comes to some of the future challenges of life with braces!
Orthodontist With A Passion For Orthodontics & Learning
I went to college and dental school in PA before moving to Oklahoma in 2008 to attend an orthodontic residency at the University of Oklahoma. After 11 years of school, my proudest academic achievement came in 2012, when I became board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a designation that only 30% of orthodontic specialists achieve.
At OU, I met Dr. Behrmann and Dr. Kadioglu, who are the best partners anyone could ask for. Our common mission and vision for Orthodontic Specialists of Oklahoma is to improve the quality or orthodontic care and access to orthodontic care in the state of Oklahoma. We love what we do.

Outside The Orthodontics Office
My family and I love to travel, and our favorite place to relax is the Bahamas or the Mountains. I spend most of my free time playing with my kids, taking them fishing, going biking with them, and playing cards and other games. Luke is only 4, but he always tries to stack the deck when we play – but I’ve caught on to him! Recently we have been learning magic tricks and doing artwork. If I ever have any time to myself, I like to ride my bike or visit the YMCA.
