Meet Dr. Michael Colt Behrmann – Orthodontist In Midwest City, Shawnee & Norman, OK
Dr. Behrmann grew up as the youngest of five children in a military family. Having lived in several places, but considers himself an Oklahoma native. Michael, his wife Christina, and their two children are thrilled to call Oklahoma their home!
Education
After graduating from Lawton High School, Dr. Behrmann completed his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK in 2005. That summer, Dr. Behrmann began the four-year dental program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City. Upon graduating in 2009, Dr. Behrmann pursued additional specialty training at a full-time orthodontic program. He was accepted into one of four positions at the orthodontic residency program at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Behrmann spent two and a half years in full-time specialty education at the University of Oklahoma Department of Orthodontics. He completed a Master’s thesis studying facial growth and development. Dr. Behrmann received a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters of Science degree. He is grateful for his education and the unique knowledge it has provided. His training gave him a long-term care perspective, clinical training, and valuable skills. It is his goal to provide the best possible care to each and every patient he treats.

Outside The Orthodontics Office
When he is not doing orthodontics, Dr. Behrmann spends most of his time with his wife, Christina, and their two children. Dr. Behrmann really enjoys spending time socializing and laughing with family and friends around a good meal and great music! When there is no food around, some of his other interests include fitness, hiking, camping, college sports, and Thunder basketball.
