Dr. Onur Kadioglu – Orthodontist In Norman, Shawnee & Midwest City, OK
Dr. Onur Kadioglu loves treating his patients as an orthodontist in Edmond and Shawnee, OK. He is a true believer in the patient-doctor relationship and highly values this bond. His main goal is to serve the community by providing beautiful smiles that are both aesthetic and functional.
Education
Dr. Kadioglu is a graduate of the Tarsus American College in Tarsus, Turkey. Following his graduation in 1996, he started his Dental Education at Istanbul University. In 2005, he was accepted to the Orthodontic Residency Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He earned his Master’s Degree in Science (MS) and his certificate as an orthodontic specialist in 2008.
Upon graduation, Dr. Kadioglu was invited on as faculty at the College of Dentistry. He’s been teaching full-time in the Department of Orthodontics. Prior to joining OSO, he also maintained his private intramural orthodontic practice in OU Dentistry. Dr. Kadioglu is currently serving as the Head of the Orthodontic Division at the University of Oklahoma. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) in 2011 and was recently recertified in 2021.
Orthodontist With A Passion For Learning
With his role as the Head of the OU’s Division of Orthodontics, and through research, he continues to stay ahead of new information and technology. Dr. Kadioglu has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed orthodontic journals and continues to lecture in scientific meetings locally and nationally. An active member of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists (SWSO) as well as the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the American Dental Association. Serving in the American Dental Education Association through various leadership roles and continues to serve on the SWSO Executive Board as their Editor. He also serves the AAO through the Council on Scientific Affairs. He is a proud member of the Orthodontic Specialists of Oklahoma.
Outside The Orthodontics Office
Dr. Kadioglu lives in Oklahoma City, OK, with his wife Sezin, who is a professor of engineering at the University of Central Oklahoma, and two sons Arden and Aren. During his spare time, he loves watching his sons play soccer and other sports, playing and recording music, playing soccer, biking and fishing.
